2009 Indiana SHRM State Conference

When I lived in Evansville and worked in the human resources field, I had the pleasure of hearing Pam and Jeff present a variety of different topics on a number of occasions. So when I moved to Paducah, KY and the Four Rivers chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) was hosing an HR & Managerial Conference, I knew exactly who we needed to call!

The chapter invited Pam and Jeff to come be our keynote speakers for the conference and they presented the “Working Wounded” to us. It was a dynamic presentation that stressed the importance of managing employees who were not impacted by a layoff. With unemployment at an all time high and the economy as bad as that of the Great Depression, there wasn’t a person in the room who couldn’t relate to the meaning of the presentation. The way Pam and Jeff are able to interact with their audience and add humor to their presentations is truly a gift. The survey results demonstrated that the conference attendees were able to learn and take away key points from the presentation, while thoroughly enjoyed themselves at the same time. You can’t ask for much more from 2 professionals that can link both knowledge and entertainment simultaneously within 1 presentation. We can’t wait to have them back again!
